More Scammers from Dating Sites

I have been collecting information on scammers from dating sites for the past few months and what I found is they seem to share messages that they post to women. Here is an example from Zingle (I think I mentioned this is the site where I found almost all the male posts I got were from scammers):

As you can see, the grammar and understanding of the English language is rudimentary. They almost never start a sentence about themselves with "I", it is always "Am".

Here are some of the names they use (they like to use American sounding names but.....)

Alex Brian Paul
Johnson
McDonald (this one cracked me up)
Leonard Jacob
Jeff Chris
Dempesy (spelling errors in how you would normally see this name)
Steve Graham Jones or Steve Jones Graham (depending on which website you find him)

In fact, this last guy, who I picked up on the Faceboook app "Are you Interested?" And who I friended on FB and chatted with on several occasions came to think I was a scammer and I will give you the gist of our conversation here:

Me: Hello Steve
Steve Jones Graham: Hello Deb how are you doing?
M: I'm good
SJG:great, so what are you up to now?
M: Just playing some games
what time is it where you are?
SJG: its 12:18am

M: How long have you been into the real estate business?
No, but I have good friends who are.
Kinda of a bummer with the current climate of the economy and the depreciation of real estate.
SJG: ok, its been like 6 yrs now
cos i use to work in an oil company  (there is that cos word again)
M: Do you have a lot of blighted property in your area?
I thought you were in jewelry too, what is that about?
SJG: yes, actually a business, my wife use to manage before she passed. so i don't want it fold up, cos of her memory
so i still run that as well

How did you lose her? And how long ago?

  6. I don't know why you would tell a scammer how to fix his errors. You're just making it easier for him/her to scam people. I've gotten some to admit they are young boys in West Africa being made to scam white people and want help getting out (probably another type of scam). If you find anyone that wants you to send money to a place in the US, get the name, city, state and then turn it over to the police. It means a person in the US is helping them. They could even be a terrorist connection (which I have encountered).

  7. Well I guess you should add Rogers Oriyomi or John Rogers to the scam bucket. This is the same person, but stole a beautiful black models photo as his own. Had the nerve to ask me to go on whatsapp. Then claim he was a U.S. army man. These people are ridiculous and sad.

    1. I'm tired of hearing that. let's get this right, the reason westerners or whoever were able to take these precious souls from Africa is because their own people
would sell them as slaves. it's a poor country and that was a main source of revenue. look it up, they don't want anyone to know this. i get pretty tired of listening to their degenerative excuses. that's all they're capable of, they've done it in the past, they do it in the present, and they'll do it it in the future instead of going out amd earning money and helping society or the economy they think cheating is easier because that's all they know. even when it's spelt put they won't, they think it's cool. they have the most diseased country on the planet ( how'd that happen?) through their own negligence and it's your fault

When I mentioned scammers, one immediately texted "Bawo omo iya"! What does that mean? The other asked me how I knew the previous ladies were scammers, but not 2 hours later said she was in Africa with a 6 year old daughter and scared for her and her daughters safety! Then asked if I would send an iTunes card so her and her daughter could have food! She claims she will be back in states by Saturday! Is she also a scammer or are they forcing people to do these things out there? Please help me out and give me a response to this predicament!

  15. Anyone asking for iTunes cards, phone minute cards, or anything like that is scamming you. Horrible English and grammar is the #1 indicator of a scammer. Falling in love with you in a few days or sooner is another red flag. Their claimed location and area code mismatch is another indicator. Any references to grandma or grandpa is another flag. Working for charity organizations is another flag. Not knowing time zones is another flag. Anything that is suspect to your common sense should be a major warning to you. A requirement of a in person meeting very soon will usually stop them in their tracks. Never accept any photos of ID's or passports, all are fakes. Never, never, never send anyone a red cent or cash checks or help with any financial matters. Always mention you will report any scammers or fake profiles to the authorities and website administrators. Good luck .... there are tons of these profoles on every dating site. Only deal with profiles that are local to you so you can verify the person easily and if they try to scam you then you can turn them in to local authorities for prosecution. Good luck ....

I was thinking how can I say three words to you. Then I found a way.
“I” feel very happy with you.
    “Love” is so beautiful.
“You” are enough for me for this life.
Now join first words of the sentences.
How can I explain my feelings to you. Its pain, its numbness, its like I can see only one thing, hear one thing and think about one thing. That is you.
I will never let you go. No matter what situation we are in, I love and care about you for ever.
That's his message he also keeps saying silly things like omo iya
I wish these idiots can be stopped.

Well, to make it short, both "ladies" were using pictures of famous Porn stars/models from the US, but they were pretending to be innocent, sexy next-door girls, looking for friendship or something else. I confronted them directly, and tell them that I knew they were fake. One of them dared to call me back through WhatsApp. I didn't answer. 33. I don't know how many of you have heard of a dating site called neenbo, but if you like "playing the player" as much as I do, you gotta check it out. Thousands of women looking to hook up and not a single one is real. I usually string them along for awhile and get their hopes up that I'm gonna send them some money. I always ask them to do me just one favor before I send it and you can almost feel their excitement boiling over until I hit them with the favor, which is, just send me one pic of you (them) with a big smile and today's date written in black marker on a sheet of paper. I have never seen so many phones with broken cameras in my life.Lol Then when I finally call them out on it, suddenly I'm the bad guy. It's a great way to pass some time. Best therapy I get these days.

  39. I don't believe any of them. So many of the same stories with broken English. Wives dies of cancer left him with a child. Works on a rig, works as a medical doctor in Syria, Afganistan, or the US. on and on and on. Professes love the same day or the day after. Begs for his victim to get on Hangouts, begs for the cellphone #, begs for you to call the travel agency so he can get out of the UN camp for a vacation to marry you. All they all want is a way to get your information any way the can. The latest was the Bitcom scam. Invest your money and it will make you so much more. Of course, let him handle your account HAH!, Give him you credit card # front and back so he can deposit 2 million dollars into it. Buy him an ITune card give him the code on back. Never give any money to any of them, whatever their excuse, never give them you EMAIL address, your phone #, any personal account #'s, never go on Hangouts which is very unsecured, that's why they all want you there. Never fall for their claims of undying love. They don't care for you. They are just scamming you. We are all smarter then them.

  41. Well I am a Nigerian and a businessman also. I just came across this post on google searching for some write ups on 'pain gone through by people scammed'. Sigh! Where can I start from ? How can I apologise for the several innocent souls who have suffered in the hands of these crooks? No empathy, No sympathy, No feeling of pains from people all in order to obtain credit from fellow human beings to make a living even after the relentless effort of our dear Federal Government(using the machinery of EFCC) to curb these crimes from tagging us a very bad and dirty image. Enslavement of fore fathers is not a reasonable excuse to justify their selfish interest. However the deed has been done, next is prevention of such occurrence. We've created a huge measure to announce to the world that these crooks do not the Country but their own interest . Nigeria has zero tolerance for cybercrime and any for of internet scamming whatsoever. Don't hesitate to report any form of internet scam to our appropriate agency EFCC (in case you have any evidence and discover the fraudster resides within the Country).call any of these numbers:

and +234(0)9-4604628 or send an email to.

    1. Hi

I have been scammed by a couple of Nigerian scammers in Nigeria itself and now they have moved on to US soil.

They even started pretending to be in Toronto canada where I'm living.

I have even gotten a fake email (probably) someone stating there from EFCC

Any suggestions now because this has gone to far every date site they are on and how do you even know if any emails or sites are legitimate anymore

  44. I was scammed for over two years. He gave a story that he was a undercover agent for the military, got sent to Africa for a mission to stop scams and assassins. Later claimed he wanted to go home but they wouldn't send him, that he had to pay for his own flight. I was stupid and helped him. But when he went back to New York, it was always something. His dad died, always wanted itunes, google play or many other things. I refused, he would get angry and always say do it do it now. He would say am instead of I'm or I am. He always claimed his phone is broke, cant take pics or video chat. His name he claims is James Murphy. But there is a man with the same pictures on Instagram called Dennis Arnold. Dennis Arnold is real but not James Murphy. He has many different numbers, my phone provider says its phone spoofing.

Anyways the pain these scammers cause is beyond belief. Its easy to fall for their lies. Please everybody be careful. They are heartless with no remorse for what they do. God Bless

  50. I unblock him. Ask him who was on the foto. When he denied it, i confronted him to do the video call with me. One time he refused the video call saying he was driving. Another day when he wrote again asking how was i doing, i called him again by video call then he rejected again.

I saw in intagram. He was still in there using 3 alias name, Jurgen Albert - jurgen.alb - ( This was the foto that he used when we started chatting )
Then another same name - jurgen.albert.58 - here he used a mask as in the picture
Then another same name - jurgen.albert
313 - here he used 2 person in the foto.

As of today he has not written anymore to me. If he write again, i will then call him by video call again in hangouts.

  55. It's not just men. I've had the exact same experience with female scammers and they literally do the EXACT same things. Same common words/phrases, same poor grasp of the English language, I've received pics of the same woman from 12 different women claiming to be her, ultimately move the conversation from the dating site to HANGOUTS or WHATSAPP and then eventually ask me to send them money, Steam Cards, gift cards, or even buy them a new cell phone.

  56. Hi my name is Josh Rogers, I am an entreprenuer. I recently had my Facebook taken over by a Nigerian all the way out in Nigeria! I don't know what to do I decided to create another one and with the same name but I feel that my name is going to be posted all over sites and discussions like this one in the future. He has since blocked my new account because I warned my friends by commenting on his post. Thats when he blocked me I didn't get a chance to report my old account to Facebook before he did. I am having my mom report it over and over again as well as my brother. But I am really looking to resolve this before it gets way too out of hand. If anybody has any ideas I greatly appreciate it. Thank you for listening to my problems. Lol
